The FNM (previously NGM) is held every two years and jointly organised by the Federation of Neurogastroenterology and Motility. Originally founded by the European Society of Neurogastroenterology and Motility and the American Neurogastroenterology and Motility Society, the Asian Neurogastroenterology and Motility Association (ANMA) was accepted as full Federation member in 2013. Together with the associate members, Sociedad Latinoamericana de Neurogastroenterología (SLNG) and the Australasian Neurogastroenterology and Motility Association (ANGMA) , the Federation of Neurogastroenterology and Motility shall serve as common voice of all its members, to articulate the perspectives of the scientific discipline to national and international agencies, foundations, philanthropic organizations and industry.
